The Science & Wizardry of Harry Potter on April 13
Sponsored by The Costumer

Are you a muggle trying to escape the routine of everyday life? Are you a wizard or witch looking to return to the wizarding world? No matter your circumstance you should come to "The Science and Wizardry of Harry Potter" presented by miSci. On Saturday, April 13th miSci will transform from a museum to an interactive experience space complete with everything a wizard, young or old, may need to expand on their magical journey.

Demonstrations:

  • ALCHEMY: Our resident Alchemist, Kurt Beecher, will perform acts of transformation before your very eyes that will leave you speechless and curious about the possibilities that exist in this magical world.
  • REANIMATION: Using the power and magic of science we will show you can transform inanimate gummy works into living, wiggling worms!
  • MANIFESTATION: Applying an understanding of frequencies, states of matter, and magic we will teach young wizards how to create magical rising structures from liquid.
  • POTION MAKING: Using chemical reactions and the wisdom and knowledge of the ages, our team of wizards will create potions that transform before your eyes.

Extra Experiences

  • Gronhdal's Wizard Workshop - Wizard and Master Wand-Maker, Titus Grondahl, will be bringing his fantastic wand-making workshop to miSci. He will help wizards of all ages craft that perfect wand for your brand of magic. Extra fees apply
  • Fantastic Beasts and the Care of Magical Creatures exotic animal show - join Adam from Uncharted Wild LLC for an up close and personal show with some of the coolest and creepiest animals, at 11:15am. Extra fees apply.
