Description
Join us for our second annual Kids’ Day at Peebles Island. Learn about the animals who live in the Park by studying their tracks, pelts, and skulls. Create a creature using a variety of art and craft supplies. Make a compass and learn about geocaching. Take home a bird feeder for the feathered friends in your yard.
Learn about the Island with a short, guided walk. Relax in our study center and take advantage of our nature library. Free informational pamphlets will be available to take home.
Back by popular demand! Build a bluebird house! There is a limited number of houses available. REGISTRATION is a MUST to build a house. Register by email at friendsofpeebles@gmail.com. Families welcome. One birdhouse per family. Children must be accompanied by an adult. A $3.00 materials fee is requested to build a house.
