Description
The oldest and largest balloon event on the East Coast set against the backdrop of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. Special shaped hot air balloons, family activities and entertainment.
Saturday Schedule: 5 -10AM "Big Balloon Breakfast" - Airport Hangar" All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Pancakes, French Toast, Sausage, Juice & Coffee, Gluten Free accommodated, $10 Adults, $8 Seniors, $6, Children 4-10, Under 4 Free. Craft Fair hosted by ZONTA, food Vendors and kid's activities. 6:30-7:30AM Flight of up to 100 balloons including special shapes (weather permitting). Music performances by Buckeye Rooster (2:30 - 4:30PM) and The Old Main (5 - 7PM). Craft fair hosted by ZONTA, food vendors, kid's activities and more! 5-6:15PM Flight of up to 100 balloons (weather permitting) including special shapes! 8PM "Lighting Up The Night" - Airport Moonglow Featuring up to 30 Balloons (weather permitting). Bring your flashlights and stick around!

** Important Traffic Update Announced for 2017 **
All spectator traffic will now enter from RIDGE ROAD to use Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport runway parking. The new traffic flow will have cars entering on the east/west runway and will be directed to parking via signage and DPW staffing. This will include regular handicapped parking. There will be 2 dedicated exits from the runways, Hicks Rd, and Queensbury Ave, based on parking location. All VIP Parking will continue to enter and exit from Queensbury Ave. To reach access road, use Exit 19 off Adirondack Northway, (from the south) right on Quaker and follow signs directed to Ridge Road. You will be assisted from there by the county.
