As a general rule of thumb, when trick or treating you need to skip homes that do not have any exterior lighting turned on, and finish your door-to-door visits by 8pm on October 31st.

Halloween trick or treating in the City of Schenectady is from 2pm to 8pm. The Schenectady Fire Department will be supplementing Halloween festivities by handing out candies, activity books and fire safety information at the following locations:

Station 3: 3rd Avenue
Station 4: Avenue A & Nott Street
Town of Rotterdam:October 31st, 2pm to 8pm

Village of Delanson: Halloween Party at the Firehouse on October 31st starting at 4pm.
