Apple picking is something that kids young and old can enjoy and makes for a fun family fall outing. We pick our own apples every fall because it's low-cost and fun, plus you are able to choose quality apples. With it being the start of the apple picking season, we thought you might appreciate information on orchards in the area where you can pick your own.

Altamont Orchards
Pick Your Apples at 4094 Becker Rd, Altamont. Not the Farm Market Location, but just East of Orchard Creek Golf Club. Open weekends from 10 am to 4 pm on weekends and Columbus Day. Bowman Orchards
Bowman Orchards feature pick-your-own, farm store, kids corner, and farm animals. Availability depends on weather & crop yield. Located at 57 Sugar Hill Road Rexford. Call (518) 371-2042. Open Daily 9AM-5PM. $5 per vehicle U-Pick entrance fee. Spend $25 or more in a single U-Pick apple order and $5 will be credited to your purchase.
Bellinger's Orchard
This Orchard offers PYO, Orchard Tours, Weekend Hayrides (weather permitting), Children's Hay Maze and a Corn Maze. Located at 685 Argersinger Rd. Fultonville. Call (518) 922-8558. Open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Devoe's Rainbow Orchards
The Orchard has PYO apples, freshly baked goods, produce, gift baskets and ice cream. Located at 1569 Rt. 9 Clifton Park NY 12065. Call 518-371-8397 hours vary.
Located at 342 Altamont Voorheesville Rd. (Route 156) Altamont. Indian Ladder Farms is an apple orchard with a farm market, cafe, bakery and gift shop. PYO Apple Prices - $24 for one half bushel bag, $20 each for 2 or more half bushel bags. Premium varieties *Honeycrisp, Gala, SnapDragon $27 per half a bushel. PYO Hours: 9 am to 5 pm every day. Terrace Mountain Apple Orchard LLC
This 50-acre apple orchard also features an Apple Barn which offers a variety of locally-grown seasonal produce (including pumpkins!), baked goods, and pure, fresh apple cider.
