A trip to the movies for families of children with special needs can be challenging. Children with special needs are not comfortable in the dark or loud noises. For this reason, Regal Cinemas is offering My Way Matinee program.
What it a Sensory-friendly Cinema? It provides a special opportunity for families to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment. The auditoriums dedicated to the program have their lights illuminated, but dimmed, and the sound turned down and audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing!
On Select Saturday at 10:30 am, Regal Cinemas Colonie Center will show the following films in a sensory-friendly environment. Tickets are $6.50 – price includes tax.
