2019 Vacation Bible School

Every summer, many local churches offer free and low-cost Vacation Bible School (VBS) programs for children. 

What is Vacation Bible School (VBS)? Vacation Bible School is an outreach provided by some churches to educate children about God. Children learn about religion through age-appropriate activities, make new friends and have fun! You don't have to be a church member to attend. Here are churches in Schenectady County and neighboring communities that offer Vacation Bible Study this year. Register soon as slots are limited!

JUNE

Easter Glenville Community Church located at 335 Saratoga Road Glenville. VBS is from July 15th to 19th from 9 AM to 12 noon.  For students entering Kindergarten to entering 7th Grade. For more information call 518-399-3151 or email children@egcchurch.org. June 21st is the deadline for registration.

JULY

First Presbyterian Church located at 209 Union St. Schenectady. Information on 2019 VBS program will be posted soon as it becomes available.

Rotterdam United Methodist Church located at 1915 Helderberg Ave. Schenectady. Information on 2019 VBS program will be posted soon as it becomes available.

Sonrise Bible Church located at 1082 Dunnsville Rd, Schenectady. The Church offers Vacation Bible School on July 22nd to 25th, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM for children who completed Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Register online HERE.

Capital Church located at 31 Vly Road Colonie. It offers Vacation Bible School for children ages 4 to 12. on July 22nd to 26th, 2019 from 6 to 8:30 PM, plus a finale celebration on July 28th, 11 AM to 2:30 PM. Register online HERE.

AUGUST

Church of the Immaculate Conception located at 400 Saratoga Road Glenville. 2018 VBS on Aug 5th to 9th, 2019 from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM. To register your children for this fun-filled adventure, download and please fill out Participant Registration Form HERE and return the attached registration form with your payment ($20 per child with a maximum of $60 per family) no later than July 26th. 

Shenendehowa United Methodist Church located at 971 Route 146, Clifton Park. VBS is from Aug 5th to 9th, 2019. Register HERE.

St. Madeline Sophie/ St. GabrielParish 2019 VBS is from Aug 12th to 16th from 9 AM to 11:45 AM. All children aged 4 through those entering Grade 5 next fall may join the program. Registration deadline is June 15th.  Find Registration HERE.

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish located at 2216 Rosa Road Schenectady. 2018 VBS is from Aug 12th to 16th, 2019 from 9 AM to 12 PM. Fee: $40 for 1 child, $60 for 2 children, $70 for 3 or more children. Messiah Lutheran Church located at 2850 Guilderland Ave. Schenectady. 2019 VBS is from Aug 12th to 16th, 2019 from 7:45 AM to 12:30 PM. Cost per child will be $10 with snacks and lunch provided. Early drop-off at 7:30am is also possible with prior notice. To sign up, please email our Parish Administrator Rianne Johnson at office@messiahschenectady.org or sign up in person on Sunday morning.
