What you need:
Skittles
Warm water
White Plate
Have the kids arrange Skittles around the edge of a white plate. Let the kids decide on whatever Skittles combination or pattern. Warm a cup of water and slowly pour about 1/2 inch of water at the center. Watch as the Skittles dissolve in water.
Variations:
- Test a variety of liquids and candies
- Set a stopwatch and check how long it takes for the skittles to fully dissolve!
