STATE PARKS & LAKES
Note that sometimes the lake closes due to some reason, so be sure to check first before heading out.
- Thompson's Lake State Park | 68 Thompsons Lake Road East Berne. Call 518-872-1674. 2019 Swimming Schedule is 6/22 to 9/2, 10am - 5:45pm, daily. $7 per car when the beach is open.
- Brown's Beach on Saratoga Lake | 511 U.S. 9, Saratoga Springs. Call 518-664-6148. Beach was closed earlier this Summer but has re-opened. Open 10am to 7pm. 13 & over - $2.00 and 12 & under - Free. Note that there are no restrooms on this beach only portable potties.
- Grafton Lakes State Park | 254 Grafton Lakes State Park Way Grafton. Call 518-279-1155. Open daily 10 am to 6 pm. $6/car
- Moreau Lake State Park | 605 Old Saratoga Road Gansevoort. Call (518) 793-0511. The beach is open for swimming now through Labor Day. 10 am - 6 pm, daily. $6/car. Closed as of 8/20/2019 due to harmful algae bloom.
- Cherry Plain State Park | 10 State Park Road Petersburg. Call (518) 733-5400 or (518) 279-1155. 2019 Swimming Season is from 5/25 - 9/2: weekends only, 10am-6pm. $7 per car.
