It’s finally here! My son’s been counting down the days to Monster Jam® since the New Year. We attended it last year and had an amazing time! We loved seeing old favorites like Grave Digger and Scooby-doo and excited to see 'new to us' Monster trucks like Stinger Unleashed and Dragon.
This year we came early for the Pit Party with the goal of meeting ALL the men and women behind these monster machines and getting their autograph! I highly recommend the Pit Party especially if you’re attending with kids. It makes the experience special and memorable. They can see these Monster Trucks up close which is pretty amazing, chat with the drivers, plus get to ride on the actual ATVs used at the show! Don’t forget to bring an autograph book or buy the souvenir program for $10 and/ or other merchandise at the event.
Another new thing I did this year is to create scorecards (10 – Out of this World, 8 – Very Good and 7 – Good), which my son used for the 2-Wheel Skills, Donut and Freestyle competitions. Since he was involved in scoring, he was more attentive! Download my scorecards HERE.
Overall, Monster Jam did not disappoint! It was a fun day out and we look forward to attending future events. We’re also hoping that Monster Jam will bring the new Bakugan Dragonoid, Megalodon and Son-uva Digger to Albany.
