“Welcome” is not just something they say, it’s part of their training philosophy. Rotterdam Martial Art's goal is to make students feel at ease and comfortable at their school.
Capital Northeast Martial Arts, its parent school, opened in 1978. It is currently the longest running martial arts school at the Town of Guilderland. Rotterdam Martial Arts, their 2nd location, opened in January 2015. It is located at 2696 Hamburg St. Rotterdam, NY. The school is 3,000 square feet and consists of a pro shop, visitor lobby, and training area. Of the 3,000 square feet, 1,600 square feet is dedicated to matted training space, providing students with a safe area to train in Tae Kwon Do and Self Defense system.
PROGRAMS OFFERED:
TAE KWON DO:
Tae Kwon Do classes are offered 5 days a week at Rotterdam and 6 days a week at Guilderland. Kids classes are divided into sections based on the student's experience: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. For adults, 2 classes are offered at Rotterdam and 5 classes at Guilderland each week.
LITTLE DRAGONS:
Little Dragons classes are offered 2 days per week for ½ hour at each location. The classes are scheduled in the late afternoon so younger children do not get home too late.
WINTER CAMP
Spots available for the Winter Camp n December 27th to December 30th from 9am to 5pm. Two days -$70, Three Days - $100 and Four Days - $125. Sign-up will be at the front desk or you can email to reserve a spot.
