Homeward Bound's Adopt-a-Dog: Meet Michael

By Homeward Bound August 18, 2016

Hello. My name is Michael and I am a 6-year-old Lab mix, around 40 lb and looking for a forever home. I was found in a wooded area in South Carolina with my foot caught in a coyote trap! I was skinny, covered with fleas and heartworm positive. Some very nice people took me in, got my foot all healed up, treated my heartworms and put some meat on my bones. Now I am a happy guy who greets everyone with a crooked smile and a wag of my tail. I am still a bit shy at first, but I do get along with everyone, kitties included. I am crated trained and housebroken and most importantly... I love my biscuits!! Please think about giving me a loving home.

About Homeward Bound
*WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF FOSTER HOMES AT THIS TIME* Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility. For adoption or information, go to www.homewardbounddogrescue.com. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics.

Our adoption clinics are at our new facility in Schenectady on John Street, directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) every Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. We do NOT accept applications at our clinics, they MUST be filled out online before coming to our adoption events. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $295. Dogs over 2 years old are $195. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
