We are excited to announce the 2016 Schenectady Macaroni Kid GOLD DAISY AWARDS! As a parent it's always tough to find the best businesses for your kids and family, so share your expertise. Nominations for the 2016 Schenectady Macaroni Kid GOLD DAISY AWARDS begins today, Thursday February 4th and ends Wednesday, February 17th. Nominations will then be tabulated, and the top 3 nominations in each category will be submitted for your FINAL VOTE from February 18th to March 7th!

You can nominate any business as long as it's located in Duanesburg, Delanson, Glenville, Niskayuna, Princetown, Rotterdam, Schenectady and Scotia and falls into our categories.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
Nominate in as many or a few categories. When you nominate in at least five (5) categories, you will be entered for a chance to win a Family Fun Pack at Sky Zone. The Family Fun Pack includes four (4) 60-Minute Jump Passes, 4 Fountain Drinks, a Large One Topping Pizza. Five (5) BONUS ENTRIES will be given if you complete the form and nominate in ALL categories. One winner will be chosen using random.org. Winner will be announced on February 18th on Facebook and our newsletter.
WHAT BUSINESSES WIN?
The Macaroni Approved/Gold Daisy winning businesses will receive a listing in the Business Directory for 1 year under the 2016 Best of the Best category & listed in our reoccurring Macaroni Approved article in all e-newsletters and on the main page of our website (with links to your business directory listing). We will announce the winners of each category after the voting process in the March 10th edition of our newsletter with links to your own websites. Winning business will also be awarded a Macaroni Kid Approved window Cling/ Certificate to display at their place of business, a graphic to post on their website and Facebook page, bragging rights and the satisfaction of knowing that Schenectady Macaroni kid families think you're the best! One GRAND PRIZE WINNER that receives the most votes overall will receive a free three-month advertising package, which includes a free website and newsletter advertisement, advertorials, event listings, and social media shout outs ($300 value).

RULES
* Only one submission per person or email address.
* Businesses may nominate themselves.
* To nominate a business you must be a Macaroni Kid Schenectady FREE email subscriber, to sign up click here.
* The top 3 businesses receiving the most online nominations in each category will move on to the voting round. Ties will result in more than 3 businesses moving on to the voting round.
* Macaroni Kid families will then vote on their favorites and one winner in each category will be selected.
* The Nomination period will run from Thursday February 4th to Wednesday February 17th, 8:00 p.m.
* The voting period will run from Thursday, February 18th, 8:00 a.m. through Tuesday, March 7th, 8:00 p.m.
* All eligible persons nominating and voting must be 18 years or older.
* All business nominations must be located in one of these towns: Duanesburg, Delanson, Glenville, Niskayuna, Princetown, Rotterdam, Schenectady and Scotia and cannot be corporately owned, national chains (i.e. Starbucks). Locally owned franchises ARE allowed.
* When you nominate in at least 10 categories, you will be entered to win a Family Fun Pack from Skyzone Albany. Winner will be selected from all eligible entries using Random.org. Winner will be notified by email and will have 24 hours to claim the price. No purchase necessary to enter this giveaway.
