Here are some tips to help you get the most out of our e-newsletter:
1. Our new free app, MACARONI TODAY, is now available via Google Play and the Apple Store. Download it now, so you can stay in the know while on the go!
2. Follow us on FACEBOOK and TWITTER for the in-between newsletter news. We often post spur of the moment contests, announcements, great things we find, etc., on Facebook and Twitter and don't want you to miss out.
3. The EVENT CALENDAR on the top will allow you to see the whole month at a glance. If you want to see this week's events, go to THIS WEEK'S CALENDAR + 1.
4. Each event on the Calendar you can add directly to your GoogleCalendar, if you have your smartphone calendar connected it will automatically show up. I use this feature and love it!
5. The pink "MY MACARONI" button that appears above the contents list is my favorite feature! You can click the plus sign (Add to My Macaroni) under any event listing and after you've selected all of the events that you are interested in, you can click the "My Macaroni" button and it will show your list, then you can download everything to a pdf that you can save and/or print to take with you! Then you'll have all the details right at hand when you're on the road.
6. EMAIL SECURITY & SPAM. Macaroni Kid Schenectady NY will NEVER EVER share your email with ANYONE. When it comes to the amount of emails you receive, this is a once weekly publication. After browsing through this week's newsletter, and selecting the ones that you think is best for your family you may delete it from your inbox. All the information will be reviewed on our website. You will not be sent random emails about products or marketing emails of any kind. This is it! If you signed-up for the other National newsletters, they publish once a month, so you could get two Macaroni Kid emails in a week, but not from this specific site. If at any time you feel you are getting too many newsletters, contact me and I will be happy to change your settings. Also, be sure to add gladysd@macaronikid.com to your contacts list so your newsletter does not get sent to your spam folder!
7. Use the SUBMT AN EVENT button to send us details on an event in the area that is open to the public. This is a FREE listing service for everyone in the community. We will include all free/ low cost (up to $10) local events that you submit.
8. SHARE MACARONI KID WITH YOUR FRIENDS. What parent isn't looking for ideas to keep the kids busy? The bigger we get, the more features we can add. In your weekly email at the bottom of the page is an easy way to sent to a friend!
9. ADVERTISE with us and share all that your family-friendly business does in our community. If families are your target market, there is no better place to advertise than Macaroni Kid! We have many options, ALL are affordable and we can help create your perfect package.
10. If you ever need to CHANGE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, you can hit reply on any newsletter and send me your new email address and I can change it for you.
