Here are some tips to help you get the most out of our e-newsletter:
1. Take a moment and to LIKE OUR FACEBOOK PAGE. That's where you will find updates and additional information between e-newsletters.
2. The EVENT CALENDAR on the top will allow you to see the whole month at a glance. If you want to see this week's events, go to THIS WEEK'S CALENDAR + 1.
3. The pink "MY MACARONI" button that appears above the contents list is my favorite feature! You can click the plus sign (Add to My Macaroni) under any event listing and after you've selected all of the events that you are interested in, you can click the "My Macaroni" button and it will show your list, then you can download everything to a pdf that you can save and/or print to take with you! Then you'll have all the details right at hand when you're on the road.
4. EMAIL SECURITY & SPAM. Macaroni Kid Schenectady NY will NEVER EVER share your email with ANYONE. When it comes to the amount of emails you receive, this is a once weekly publication. You will not be sent random emails about products or mass emails of any kind. This is it. If you signed-up for the other National newsletters, they publish once a month, so you could get two Macaroni Kid emails in a week, but not from this specific site. If at any time you feel you are getting too many newsletters, contact me and I will be happy to change your settings. Also, be sure to add gladysd@macaronikid.com to your contacts list so your newsletter does not get sent to your spam folder!
5. Use the SUBMT AN EVENT button to send us details on an event in the area that is open to the public. This is a FREE listing service for everyone in the community. We will include all free/ low cost (up to $10) local events that you submit.
6. COMMENT on things you like or send me an email by replying to the newsletter so I know what kinds of things you like to read about. If you have any suggestions for articles, please let me know.
7. SHARE MACARONI KID WITH YOUR FRIENDS. What parent isn't looking for ideas to keep the kids busy? The bigger we get, the more features we can add. In your weekly email at the bottom of the page is an easy way to sent to a friend!
8. ADVERTISE with us and share all that your family-friendly business does in our community. If families are your target market, there is no better place to advertise than Macaroni Kid! We have many options, ALL are affordable and we can help create your perfect package.
9. If you ever need to CHANGE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, you can hit reply on any newsletter and send me your new email address and I can change it for you.
10. SUPPORT OUR SPONSORS. Every Thursday, we send our 550+ email subscribers a FREE newsletter jam-packed with activities, local happenings, articles, recipes, crafts, and great giveaways.
